The CHEWS program will be hosting a Winter Farmer’s Market the first and third Sundays of the month November and through March. CHEWS is a collaborative project between the Conneaut Human Resources Center (CHRC) and the Trillium Center. CHEWS stands for Choosing Healthy Eating for Wellness and Strength.
The winter farmers market will be open for four weekends during the holidays so that locally made crafts and foods are available for holiday gifts. The market will continue through March looking forward to fresh early vegetables in the spring. CHEWS is looking for farmers and other vendors to sign up.
